I just read a news stories about politicians contemplating the idea of seizing peoples 401(k)s and IRA's to fund social security. Personally, I'm not a fan of big government. I am a fan of people helping other people out. But having people's money "seized" (is that like stolen?) just doesn't seem like the way to go.
Is this even possible?
