"I probably need..." - used when trying to convince someone to give him his way. As in "I probably need some juice." "I probably need some chocolate." Or when the babysitter goes to put him to bed, "I probably need my mom."
"I not do that again. Maybe next time, Mom." - used when he's done something he knows he shouldn't and is trying to assure me it won't happen again as an attempt to avoid trouble chair. Latest use: throwing the yard debris in the wrong bin (I promise you he knew full well where it belonged) and was threatened with not being able to pull weeds any longer.
"He's my Daddy!!" - said with big smiles and tons of giggles when Dave has been playing Monster games with him and he reassures himself(and everyone) everything is okay cause "He not scary monster. He my daddy!" Usually followed by a long hug to Dave's knees.
"This not easy!" - used when trying to impress someone of his skill. As in when he's descending the stairs or playing drums. Especially when trying to communicate to someone new how amazing he really is.
"But I like you Mom!" - used when trying to convince me he should be allowed to accompany me to the bathroom every time I wanna shut the door.
