A sciency Thanksgiving.

I'm not sure that I mentioned that we're enjoying Thanksgiving in San Jose.

We thought the best way to spend thanksgiving morning would be to go to school. Wendy's school to be exact, so we could check out her classroom.

Wendy's classroom is a veritable gold mine of super coolness.

And can I just tell you that if I was in 8th grade, I'd want Wendy for a science teacher. She brought out several of the fun projects she does with her students for us.

We made slime/flubber.

which was definitely a big hit.

The "mash it up" part involved some hard work.

Pretty sweet stuff.

Brennan had a wee bit of trouble with keeping the flubber/slime off his clothes.

I was planning to inundate you with everything we did there all at once, but I'm thinking it'd be a better idea to dole it out. So there'll be a lot more in the next coupla days.
